Emily Lites - 2nd Runner-Up
1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
My middle name is Scarlett and I think it's really unique and pretty. I love my middle name so much, that my mother and I co-own a consignment store entitled Scarlett Anne's Boutique, combining our love of fashion, bargain hunting and our middle names!
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Sunday! I absolutely love going to church and spending time with family and to stay home eating dinner outside, and relaxing. Sunday’s are the best days to catch up on Netflix shows and to experiment making a yummy dessert together!
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
A Little Princess embodies everything my mom taught me as a young lady. Every girl is a princess and a princess is someone who is beautiful on the inside. The main character faces heartbreak and diversity with such undeniable strength. She truly is a a role model for all "little princess's". I love watching this with my mom and having quality bonding time!
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
I played softball for ten years before my brother Jude got really sick. I alternated positions from pitcher to catcher. I loved being a part of a team and getting better with practice. I think young children can learn so much from organized sports including teamwork, determination and hustle, many of the same things I have learned from pageantry!
